The Ridenhour Prizes
Three annual Ridenhour Prizes, named in memory of whistleblower and journalist Ron Ridenhour, honor a book, an annual achievement and a lifetime accomplishment exemplifying acts of truth-telling that protect the public interest, promote social justice or illuminate a more just vision of society.

The Preservation Resource Center has assisted over 5000 families in saving their homes; a winter 2008 benefit raised more than $300,000 for the cause while honoring Time Inc., for its continuing coverage of post-Katrina New Orleans.
